OKLAHOMA CITY -- Your Wednesday forecast includes a warm and windy morning.
Most of the state started the day out near 70 degrees under clear skies with southerly winds 15mph. As the day unfolds we will have partly cloudy skies with increasing winds about 20-30mph with gust to 40.
Mid day we start to heat up, not quite as hot today, but low 90s for most of the state. Late day 3 p.m. until 9 p.m., the western half of the state will have the possibility for thunderstorms. Some of those may be severe, including strong winds large hail and maybe a tornado or two.
So please stay weather aware in this time period, because it does include drive time from work and leads into the evening.
Tonight, chance for storms is decreasing, but some rain and thunderstorms may linger. Overnight, lows in the upper 60s. Thursday morning, some thunderstorms possible and again in the evening.
So stay weather for the next day or two. And stay with News 9 and News9.com, we will keep you advised.
