Community members will gather Wednesday night for a candlelight vigil to remember a Midwest City teenager who was killed in an accidental shooting.
Lebron Davis, 13, was found dead from a gunshot wound to the chest on Thursday, August 14, at a home in Midwest City.
Police said a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old who were present at the time of the shooting initially told investigators that the victim shot himself. But the teens later admitted in separate interviews that the weapon had accidentally discharged while the 14-year-old was handling it, striking Davis.

The vigil will take place at 8 p.m. at the home where the incident occurred, located at 232 Windsor Way. Gun locks will be handed out during the event.
