The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake in northern Oklahoma Monday evening.
The 3.0 magnitude quake was reported eight miles south, southeast of Medford and 22 miles north, northeast of Enid at 5:10 p.m., according to the USGS.
The earthquake was more than two miles deep.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
