A suspect in an Oklahoma City slaying has been arrested in western Kentucky.
West Kentucky Star radio reports Travis Richards was arrested Wednesday evening in Paducah on a warrant for murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.
McCracken County sheriff's deputies, Paducah police officers and U.S. Marshals converged on a trailer where Richards was located and arrested him without incident. Richards was wanted in connection to the shooting death of 39-year-old Jason Beals in Oklahoma City.

According to Oklahoma City police, at about 4 p.m. on December 27, 2014, officers responded to the report of shots fired in the 3300 block of S.W. 51st Street. When officers arrived, they found the victim, later identified as 39-year-old Jason Beals, in a garage apartment behind the main house.
Beals was pronounced dead at the scene. Oklahoma City homicide investigators identified 23-year-old Travis Wayne Richards as a suspect in the case. Richards has active warrants for his arrest.
After being arrested in Kentucky, Richards was lodged in the McCracken County jail. It wasn't immediately clear whether he has an attorney.
