Edmond police arrested a man who is accused of pointing a gun at a neighbor during an argument over the neighbor's barking dog.

According to Edmond police, the suspect, 52-year-old Leslie Scott Pardee, was angry about a barking dog at a neighbor's home in the 8300 block of E. Covell. So he drove to that home and confronted the neighbor.

Pardee has a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit out of Arizona and was open-carrying a pistol in a holster as he confronted the neighbor, according to police.

Police said Pardee continued yelling at the neighbor as he got back into his vehicle. The neighbor then punched the hood of Pardee's vehicle. That's when police said Pardee got out of his car, drew his loaded gun, and pointed it at the neighbor's face.

Pardee was arrested Thursday night for felony pointing a firearm.
