A 4.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Perry, Oklahoma, Wednesday morning, and a second was recorded late afternoon.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 4.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 11:42 a.m. Its epicenter was located 13 miles west of Perry, and 20 miles east, southeast of Enid. It was about a mile deep.
The second was a 3.0 magnitude earthquake that struck at approximately 3:30 p.m. Its epicenter was located 12 miles west of Perry, 21 miles east, southeast of Enid, and 28 miles north of Guthrie. It was about five miles deep.
No injuries or damage were immediately reported following either earthquake.
