Small earthquakes shook near Stillwater and Meeker, Okla. on Monday.
The 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 7 p.m., nine miles northwest of Meeker, or about 29 miles east northeast of the OKC metro, at a depth of three miles.
A 3.0 magnitude earthquake was also recorded near Stillwater at 3:13 p.m.
No damage or injuries have been reported with either earthquake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes of 4.0 and higher.
