In a recent study, Forbes listed Oklahoma City and Tulsa among the top 20 most affordable cities in the United States.
Oklahoma City was ranked 4th on the list.

Q4 2014 median sales price: $139,000
Housing affordable at median family income: 77.3 %
Cost Below National Average: Groceries: 10.1 %; Utilities: 10.1 %; Transportation: 2.1 %; Health: 6.0 %; Misc.: 7.7 %
And Tulsa came in 18th among the top 20 most affordable cities.

Housing affordable at median family income: 76.2 %

Birmingham, Alabama, takes the top spot of the list.
