Several roads and/or bridges are closed Thursday afternoon in Oklahoma County, due to damage from Wednesday night's storms and rising water.

According to County Commissioner Brian Maughan, Dobbs Road north of S.E. 29th is closed for as long as one week due to a major pavement washout.

The Wilshire Avenue bridge over the North Canadian River between Choctaw Road and Indian Meridian Road was closed at mid-morning due to rising water, which has begun to inundate the roadway and threatens to overflow the bridge.
