Police are looking for a man who was caught on camera robbing a dry cleaning business in northwest Oklahoma City.
According to police, at about 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at Freedom Cleaners, located at 2907 N.W. 122nd Street.
An employee told police that the suspect entered the store through the back doors. He was armed with a small black handgun that appeared to be a toy, which was equipped with a laser sight.
The suspect reportedly pointed the gun towards the employee's feet and stated, “Give me everything you got.” The employee said the money was inside a locked office, but she did not have the key to that office. So she used a screwdriver to pry open the door and gave the suspect the money from the drawer of a filing cabinet.
The suspect then ran away from the scene.
On Monday, June 29, police released a surveillance video taken during the robbery. Although the suspect's wearing a rag over the lower part of his face, police said they hope that someone might recognize his clothing, walk, etc.
