Former Hollis Teacher Sentenced To Prison For Sex With Student

An Oklahoma teacher is headed to prison for having sex with a student. She admitted her relationship with a middle schooler on Dr. Phil., and plead guilty to the charges in court.

A judge sentenced Jennifer Caswell to 10 years in prison on charges including second degree rape and forced oral sex.

Caswell is a former middle school teacher in Hollis.

Prosecutors say she had sex with a student in her classroom, and even traveled to Mississippi to meet the boy while he vacationed with his family.

She told her story exclusively to Dr. Phil, and believed she did nothing wrong.

“You’re being charged as a rapist. And I didn’t force anything. I’m not a rapist,” said Caswell in her interview. “I’m not a sex offender. I’m not a threat or danger to anyone.”

A judge felt differently.

After Caswell serves her 10-year sentence, she'll have to register as a sex offender.
