Crews Put Out Fire At Vacant House In West OKC

Fire crews have put out a fire at a vacant house in west Oklahoma City, Thursday afternoon.

According to the fire department, just before 1:30 p.m., crews responded to the fire at a home in the 2800 block of W. Reno, near Reno and May. Bob Mills SkyNews 9 HD flew over the scene. Pilot Jim Gardner reported that firefighters were able to get this fire under control quickly. 

The cause is under investigation. No injuries have been reported. 

According to the fire department, this was a vacant house with no utilities, and the windows were boarded up. Firefighters had the fire under control in about 15 minutes.

A search was conducted as a precautionary measure, and nobody was found inside, fire officials said.
