Man Arrested For Manslaughter In Accidental Shooting That Killed Fort Sill Soldier

A man was arrested on a manslaughter complaint in connection to an accidental shooting that killed a Fort Sill soldier.

According to Lawton police, Saturday morning, officers responded to the report of a shooting at the Avondale Apartments, located at 5214 Rogers Lane in Lawton.

Witnesses helped identify a vehicle that left the scene. Officers found the vehicle with 21-year-old Stephon Devon Threat and the victim, 20-year-old Trevor Hargrave, inside.

Hargrave was suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the hospital.

Threat was arrested and booked into the Lawton City Jail on complaints of first-degree manslaughter and possession of a firearm while intoxicated.

Detectives are still completing the case and they plan on submitting it to the District Attorney soon.
