A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Cherokee, Oklahoma, Tuesday afternoon.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 12:55 p.m. Its epicenter was located 14 miles east of Cherokee, and 26 miles north, northwest of Enid.
It was about three miles deep.
No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
