The University of Central Oklahoma Student Association and Uber will team up this fall to offer free rides for UCO students every Thursday-Saturday night.

The program covers the cost of an Uber ride up to $20 from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Thursday-Saturday within the designated safe ride zone. The zone is bordered by Covell Rd. on the north and I-40 on the south with it's east and west boundaries being I-35 and I-44, respectively.

If a trip exceeds $20, the card attached to the students Uber account will be charged for the difference.

The program will run through the fall semester and then be reevaluated in order to decide whether or not to continue it in the spring semester.
