Stabbing Victim Identified As Union City Prison Escapee

<p>Oklahoma City police confirmed that a man stabbed early Tuesday morning has been identified as an inmate who escaped from the Union City Community Corrections Center.</p>

Oklahoma City police confirmed that a man stabbed early Tuesday morning has been identified as an inmate who escaped from the Union City Community Corrections Center.

According to police, at about 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the report of a stabbing victim being found near S.E. Grand and S. Santa Fe. The victim reportedly flagged down three men in a truck passing by, and they were able to offer help.

The victim, later identified as 33-year-old Robert Walling Jr., was transported to the hospital.  Police later confirmed that Walling had escaped from the Union City Community Corrections Center. He also has active warrants out of Oklahoma City.

Police have not arrested anyone in connection to the stabbing. No suspect description is available at this time.
