A ceremonial signing took place on Thursday for a bill that outlaws so called "Revenge Porn."
Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin signed the bill for a photo-op, but it had been passed into law back in May. It defines revenge porn as the non-consensual dissemination of sexual images or videos, and makes it a crime.
"They will post them in order to embarrass, harass, intimidate them. It basically takes that and makes it a misdemeanor," Rep. John Jordan said.
Violators of the revenge porn law could face up to one year in prison, a $1,000 fine or both.
