Oklahoma State receiver James Washington was named the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week on Sunday, the Walter Camp foundation announced.
Washington racked up 296 yards receiving with two touchdowns in Oklahoma State’s 45-38 win against Pitt. He had six receptions of 25+ yards. He totaled the most receiving yards by an FBS player since Michigan’s Jeremy Gallon (369) in 2013.
Washington leads the Big 12 and ranks fifth nationally in receiving yards (399) and receiving yards per game (133). The Cowboys face unbeaten No. 16 Baylor on the road this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT.
