Residents in Grady County will soon have a new way of getting emergency alerts to their mobile device, especially during severe weather.
The County is switching over to a system called Hyper-Reach. Officials said these notifications will be in addition to the alerts from the National Weather Service.
The system is also capable of issuing Amber Alerts and Silver Alerts in the county, officials said.
