A Logan County deputy died Sunday after he suffered a heart attack while on duty late Thursday night, the Logan County sheriff's office confirmed.
Deputy Jason Wright, 33, suffered a heart attack about 11:30 p.m. Thursday when was driving his patrol car. Another deputy in the patrol car was able to stop the vehicle safely.
Wright was taken to the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City. The sheriff's office confirmed Wright died Sunday.
