The Bedlam rivalry is just getting revved up in Norman for the latest installment of the “Bedlam” series. But do fans there have anything to be concerned about when it comes to security?
A student at Ohio State attacked and wounded eleven people Monday, November 28. Friday, Oklahoma University told News 9 while they won’t discuss specifically what they do to keep fans safe in and around Memorial Stadium before, during and after games, they say the security measures they take are “extensive”.
Fred Walden and his friends were one of the first groups of RV’s to set up just East of Memorial Stadium Friday afternoon.
“I never even thought of it,” said Walden. “I came here to have fun. If I start thinking about that, I won’t have any fun.”
Rebecca Mohri is a junior Education major at OU. “I do think about it when I’m in large crowds,” she said.
