A commercial fire was reported Monday afternoon in southeast Oklahoma City.
The fire happened about 3:45 p.m. at a mechanic's shop in the 5200 block of S Shields Boulevard.
Firefighters reported heavy smoke and flames coming from the side of the building upon arrival.
The fire was put out less than 30 minutes later but firefighters continued to fight hot spots.Officials said six vehicles were heavily damaged in the fire.
Shields was closed in both directions while firefighters battled the fire.
The fire appears to have originated in or near one of the vehicles, however the official cause of the fire has not been reported, according to investigators.
No injuries were reported.
Damages to the structure and contents resulted in a total loss of nearly $140,000.
