OKLAHOMA CITY - A woman who thought she was there for her fight, got more than she bargained for Wednesday night in North Oklahoma City’s McKinley Park.

Kenetra Carter, 18, says she was fighting another woman, when a young man jumped out of an SUV, and into her car, then sped away.

Police say fighting’s not a good idea anytime, and neither is leaving your keys in your car.

“You’re leaving your keys in your vehicle, and you’re not in your vehicle, and you’re giving that opportunity for someone else to take it,” said Oklahoma City Police Captain Bo Matthews. “It’s not different than when somebody leaves their keys in their car at a Seven Eleven.”
