An Oklahoma City man is in jail after being accused of kidnapping and raping a woman over the weekend.

Police said he tried to kidnap at least three more women too, but they refused his demands.

Sergio Soto, 19, is in the Oklahoma County jail on a $310,000 bond.

According to court records, the first woman he approached was jogging around the Myriad Gardens, but she refused his demands.

Then, 15 minutes later, a man matching his description approached another woman who was walking near NW 8 and Walker.

She told officers he told her to "come here" three separate times. When she refused, he got back in his car and drove off.

Another woman called police two minutes later, claiming the same thing and described the same suspect.

The affidavit stated Soto then held up a woman near NW 39 and Pennsylvania, forced his way into her car, drove her car away from the apartments and then raped her in an alley near the Belle Isle shops.

"There's no indication that any of his victims ever knew him," said Oklahoma City police Master Sgt. Gary Knight.

Police said each of the victims described the same suspect, and said he had dark curly hair, carried what appeared to be a shotgun, was wearing a light-colored hoodie, and was seen driving a green Ford Mustang.

Police arrested Soto near the area of Pennsylvania and NW 36 Street after he was found driving in a green Ford Mustang with a loud exhaust. In the backseat, police found a pellet rifle with a wooden stock.

The report stated three of the women approached by Soto identified his picture in a photo lineup.
