Gas Leak Prompts Evacuation In NW OKC

A gas leak has caused the evacuation of homes in a neighborhood in northwest Oklahoma City, Wednesday afternoon.

Crews with Hazmat and Oklahoma Natural Gas have been called to the neighborhood near NW 16th St. and N. Ann Arbor Ave. The leak actually occurred in the 1500 block of N. Libby Ave.

According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, 14 structures in the vicinity of the leak have been evacuated. The cause has not yet been determined.
