Formal charges have been filed against two people arrested in connection to a deadly shooting in Oklahoma City.

On Monday, 28-year-old Michael Tyrone Webb Jr. and 26-year-old Tempestt Lashay Williams have each been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, and assault with a dangerous weapon.

The two were arrested in connection to the death of 28-year-old David Weideman, who was found shot on August 28 in the 2400 block of N.W. 32nd Street. The arrest warrant states Wiedman and a friend met two women and Lake Hefner and then later picked them up at a home in Northwest Oklahoma City.

The Warrant states Williams later returned to Weidman's house and then left saying she needed to get her sister. A few minutes later an unknown woman came walking up with Webb and another man. Witnesses say Webb and Weidman exchanged words and that's when Webb pulled out a gun, shot Weidman in the chest, took his wallet, and ran. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Webb’s uncle, Eugene Moore, said he was watching News 9 when he found out that his nephew was wanted in connection to the crime. He said he convinced his nephew to turn himself in. On September 1, Moore drove Webb to the News 9 parking lot, where Webb was arrested by Oklahoma City police.

"I let him understand that that's a very serious matter, a very serious charge and that emotions would start to flare after time goes by, " said Moore on September 1, 2016. "Go ahead and turn yourself in and let's get this worked out."

Moore says Webb wanted to meet on neutral grounds, so they chose the News 9 Parking Lot.

"He's a good kid, " said Webb. "I mean he's my nephew and I love him and I have children and if you do wrong there's consequences for wrong, no matter what the circumstances are."

Williams turned herself in to authorities the next day. Both she and Webb are both being held without bond in the Oklahoma County jail. Both faces charges of first degree murder, first degree robbery, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
