A second suspect wanted in connection to the shooting death of an Oklahoma City man turned herself in to authorities Thursday night.
According to police, 26-year-old Tempestt Lashay Williams turned herself in to the Oklahoma County Jail just before 9 p.m.. Williams and 28-year-old Michael Tyrone Webb Jr. are both facing charges of first-degree murder and robbery, in connection to the death of 28-year-old David Weideman.
In the early morning hours of August 28, Weideman was found shot in the 2400 block of N.W. 32nd Street. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Webb’s uncle, Eugene Moore, said he was watching News 9 when he found out that his nephew was wanted in connection to the crime. He said he convinced his nephew to turn himself in.
Moore then drove Webb to the News 9 parking lot, where Webb was arrested by Oklahoma City police.
