Del City Bible School Teacher Gets Prison Time For Producing Child Porn

A former teacher at a Del City church was sentenced to more than 27 years in prison for producing child pornography.

Donnie Ray Schultz, 45, was arrested back in December 2015 when it was learned he had been engaging in lewd sexual acts with a young teenage girl whom he had met in his religion class at a Del City church.

At a plea hearing in April, Schultz admitted to producing more than 170 images of sex acts involving the teen.

Because Schultz had a prior conviction of Second-Degree Rape of another teen out of Cleveland County, he faced a higher mandatory minimum sentence for this crime.

The judge sentence Schultz to 327 months in federal prison and imposed a fine of $4,266.13 in restitution to the victim.
