Injuries Reported After Multi-Vehicle Crash In Rural NE OKC

First responders are on the scene of an injury crash in a rural area on the east side of the metro, Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called out to the scene near NE 23rd St. and N. Bartell Rd. just after 2:30 p.m. At least two vehicles are involved and according to reports, a child may have been trapped in one of the vehicles.

Police have shut down NE 23rd St. in both directions while crews work the scene.

Three people were taken from the scene to local hospitals in non-life threatenibng condition. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
