YUKON, Oklahoma -

Police responding to a call of 'Shots Fired' in Yukon are now dealing with a standoff situation, Tuesday afternoon.

Oklahoma City Police Officers were called out to the scene just to the north of Yukon High School, near Yukon Parkway and Ranchwood Blvd., around noon.

Investigators confirm that someone fired a weapon, but say that no one was hit. EMSA confirms that they are on standby at the scene and have not treated anyone at this time.

According to police, the shooting occurred near the Tit 4 Tat Hail Team auto body shop in the area, and stemmed from an altercation between a bail bondsman and a suspect. Officers tell News 9 that no hostages have been taken and only the suspect remains inside of the body shop.

Police know the identity of the suspect, but have not released it publicly at this time. News 9 has also learned the suspect's identity, but will wait until police officially release the information. The suspect was sought for missing a court date on felony drug possession charges.

Several streets in the area have been shut down as the situation unfolds. Residents are being asked to avoid the area.
