Ziva Branstetter, Editor in Chief of The Frontier, appeared on 6 In The Morning Friday to discuss an investigation she's been working on for months.

News On 6 and The Frontier have formed an investigative partnership. Branstetter's investigation centers on whether Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin and then-Texas Governor Rick Perry improperly intervened to prevent a Tulsa doctor from losing his medical license.

Branstetter's story led to a call from the Oklahoma Democratic Party to call for an independent investigation.

Governor Fallin's office says it acted only because it didn't want an open-ended case that would drag on for years, but Oklahoma Democrats say they're not satisfied.

"It is time for an appropriate law enforcement official who has no connection to this controversy to take a hard look, make a full disclose and take the appropriate immediate action," said Mark Hammons, Oklahoma Democratic Party Chairman.
