One Dies After Auto-Pedestrian Accident In NW OKC

The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating after an elderly man was struck and killed by a truck Saturday morning.

According to police, the incident occurred around 11:45 a.m., in the area of N. May and Memorial. The driver of a truck traveling north on May made a right turn onto Memorial. But as he was turning, an elderly man was crossing the street and was hit by the truck.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but later died from his injuries.

The names of those involved have not been released at this time.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
