MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma - A Midwest City High School student was arrested Monday after school officials found a loaded gun on school property.

Police say 18-year-old Donshea Brown had recently posted photos of him flashing cash and drugs on social media.

When Brown was at school, a Midwest City High School principal called Brown into his office and searched his backpack.

Midwest City Police Chief Brandon Clabes said the principal found enough that police have charged Brown with five felonies.

“Searched his backpack, found a loaded 32-caliber semi-automatic handgun, and also 18 baggies of marijuana,” Clabes said Wednesday.

Brown is in the Oklahoma County jail on $21,000 bond.
