We’re through seven weeks of the 2015 college football season, and the Big 12 is shaping up about how we all thought it would. TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma State are all still undefeated, while Oklahoma responded from a bad loss to Texas with an impressive win at Kansas State.

For last week's rankings, click here.

With that said, it’s time to unveil the second batch of power rankings. Enjoy:

1. TCU (7-0, 4-0)

--

TCU maintains the No. 1 spot after a road win in Ames. Iowa State gave ‘em a little trouble early, but the Frogs woke up quickly and turned on the jets. TCU gets a bye week before hosting West Virginia next Thursday night.

2. Baylor (6-0, 3-0)

+1

Baylor jumps a spot for yet another convincing win over a quality team. The Bears are averaging 63.8 points per game this season, and no one seems to have any answer as to how to stop ‘em. They’ll host Iowa State on Saturday, so expect another 60+ point outburst.

3. Oklahoma State (6-0, 3-0)

-1

The Pokes rested on a much-deserved bye week, and now they basically have another one. Kansas comes to Boone Pickens Stadium on Saturday, so if you’re OSU, the main goal is to avoid any injuries and shake off some rust before traveling to face Texas Tech in two weeks.

4. Oklahoma (5-1, 2-1)

--

Oklahoma responded from that Texas debacle in a big way. OU crushed Kansas State, 55-0, in Manhattan. The Sooners are still fourth though, until someone ahead of them loses a game. OU faces another must win against Texas Tech this week.

5. West Virginia (3-3, 0-3)

+1

West Virginia has fallen on hard times, mostly thanks to a brutal stretch in their schedule. Consecutive losses to OU, OSU and Baylor have the Mountaineers 0-3 in the Big 12, and they aren’t out of the woods yet. After a bye week, WVU travels to face TCU next Thursday.

6. Texas Tech (5-2, 2-2)

+1

Tech wasn’t impressive in the least at Kansas, but rise here mainly due to Kansas State’s fall (more on that shortly). The Red Raiders are quietly one win from bowl eligibility and sit at .500 in the conference. Their quest for legitimacy continues this Saturday in Norman.

7. Kansas State (3-3, 0-3)

-2

KSU falls two spots, not because they lost to Oklahoma, but because the score was 55-0. Unless you’re playing an NFL team, 55-0 on your home field is unacceptable. The loss was so ugly, Cats coach Bill Snyder even wrote an apology letter to the fans.

8. Texas (2-4, 0-2)

--

Texas had a bye week after that huge win over Oklahoma. We’ll see if coach Charlie Strong can keep up the good mojo this week against Kansas State. If so, the Horns might be moving up the rankings soon.

9. Iowa State (2-4, 1-2)

--

The Cyclones stormed out of the gate to lead TCU, 21-14, after one quarter on Saturday. But the offense couldn’t keep up the pace as the Frogs outscored ‘em 31-0 over the final three periods. Good try, good effort.

10. Kansas (0-forever)

--

The Jayhawks put up one heck of a fight against Texas Tech on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough to win the game, nor is it enough to escape the basement. The most frustrating part for Kansas: they actually played the Red Raiders evenly. KU only lost by 10, but missed three field goals and one extra point, which, as you know, equals 10 points.
