CANADIAN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Investigators with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol now know the identities of the two women who led them on a high-speed chase on Monday afternoon.

Troopers identified the two women as Dianne Garrett, 30, and Unique Williams, 23, both of Florida.

They said Garrett admitted the two are part of a credit card theft ring out of Florida. The two are being held in the Canadian County jail.

This morning investigators with OHP were at the Sonesta Suites near Reno and Meridian Avenues, searching a room that the two women had checked into Sunday night. Garrett told investigators they had planned to spend a week targeting the Oklahoma City area, but their plans took a wrong turn Monday.

Bob Mills SkyNews 9 pilot Jim Gardner was in the air as they led state troopers on a high speed chase down Interstate 44.

The chase began outside Union City in Canadian County and went on for several miles through Oklahoma City and into McClain County.

Troopers said Union City police tried to pull over the two women for speeding through their town.

OHP troopers joined the chase when the two women entered the interstate. The chase finally coming to an end when the

Williams took a hard turn at exit 108 in the southbound lane of I-44, hitting a bump and going airborne. The car then rolled at least four times before coming to a stop.

Our cameras were rolling as Williams took off running despite the wreck.

Troopers cornered her at the back of a nearby business. Turns out, Williams has a criminal record and is currently on probation in Florida for credit card fraud. No word on whether Garrett has any prior charges.

“One is being somewhat cooperative, the other not so much,” Oklahoma Highway Patrol Capt. Paul Timmons said.

Timmons said they did find a number of gift cards, debit cards and cell phones inside the wrecked car, that was a rental car with stolen Oklahoma plates.

Investigators are still trying to figure out just how many crimes the two women are responsible for during their stay in the metro.

They have contacted Florida authorities as well.

For now, Williams and Garrett are both being held without bond on complaints of receiving, possessing and/or concealing stolen property, endangering others while eluding a police officer, and reckless driving.
