Bomb Threats Reportedly Made At Oklahoma State Penitentiary

McALESTER, Oklahoma -

There are reports of bomb threats being made against the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester, Oklahoma, Wednesday afternoon.

Officials with the Department of Corrections told News 9's Justin Dougherty that they cannot "confirm or deny the bomb threats." They did say that the execution of high-profile death row inmate Richard Glossip is "going forward as planned" Wednesday afternoon.

Dougherty reported that Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are present at prison gates.

Glossip is scheduled to be executed at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
