After hitting the road and beating the Longhorns in Austin, the Oklahoma State football team continues to climb both the USA Today Coaches and Associated Press polls. OSU is up to No. 19 and No. 20 respectively.
Oklahoma State maintained a perfect 4-0 record with a 30-27 victory at Texas on Saturday, using two late field goals from Ben Grogan to pull off a late comeback and take down the Longhorns. The victory marked the first time that any team has defeated Texas in four-consecutive contests at Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
The Cowboys’ latest national ranking extends a streak of three-consecutive weeks in the polls. Oklahoma State debuted at No. 25 in both sets of rankings on Sept. 13, and has made jumps over each of the last two weeks.
OSU is joined by four other Big 12 teams in the national rankings, including TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma and West Virginia.
The Cowboys will return home for their next contest, as Oklahoma State hosts Kansas State on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Boone Pickens Stadium.
