Oklahoma City police are looking for two suspects caught on camera robbing a Family Dollar store at gunpoint. Police said one suspect even slapped the clerk across her face with a pistol while she was complying with their demands.

According to police, at about 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store located at 1940 N.E. 39th Street. A clerk told police she was at the front register when two male suspects came into the store in a “crouching manner.”

The clerk said one suspect came around the counter. Both suspects pointed guns at the clerk while they demanded money. One suspect reportedly told the other to “hit that b****.” That’s when the suspect slapped the clerk in the face with his pistol. Police said the clerk had a red mark and scratch on her left cheek.

According to police, the clerk opened the register and the suspects grabbed the money. Police said the two also took the clerk’s wallet out of her purse and said to her, “I’m stealing your wallet, b****!” The two then ran out of the store.

News 9 spoke with the clerk by phone Wednesday afternoon. She said she is still very upset, and is "still processing what happened".

One suspect is described as a black male possibly in his mid-20s. He stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He had a thin build and was wearing a black hoody with the hood over his head, a camo bandanna over his face and sunglasses. The second suspect stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He was wearing a black ball cap, red bandanna, sunglasses, and all black clothing.

A witness reported seeing the suspects get into an old 80s or early 90s model station wagon, which was white or light blue in color, following the robbery. "I wish I could have done more," he said.

On Wednesday, police released a surveillance video taken during the robbery. If you recognize these two, or have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300.
