CCSO: Man Arrested In Undercover Sting For Child Sex Crimes

Canadian County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man accused of soliciting sex with a minor after an undercover sting Wednesday evening.

According to the sheriff’s office, 38-year-old Joshua Davis thought he was meeting up with a 13-year-old girl at a local convenience store. But it was a decoy, and Davis was arrested.

Authorities say, Davis is a security guard and has worked for several different law enforcement agencies around the state of Oklahoma. His last place of employment was with the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office.

Davis is now facing charges that include soliciting sex with a minor by use of technology and using a firearm is the commission of a felony.
