Crews Douse Fire At Abandoned Apartment In NW OKC

Crews were once again called out to fight a fire at an abandoned apartment complex on the northwest side of the metro.

Firefighters were called out to the scene near NW 10th St. and Greenvale Rd. just after 12:30 p.m.

Once on scene crews reported seeing heavy black smoke pouring from the structure. The cause has not yet been determined.

The fire was under control shortly after 1 p.m. It is the second time in the last three weeks that fire crews have been called to the complex, and has had firefighters called out to it multiple times in the past.
