Heavy Rains, Flooding Possible In OK Over The Next Few Days

Posted: Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY -

Clouds will increase late Tuesday night ahead of our next chance for rain. Overnight lows will drop to the mid-50s. Rain should enter the metro by mid to late Wednesday morning.

Showers and isolated storms will continue throughout much of the day tomorrow. With all of the recent rain, flash flooding will become an issue again. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect all day Wednesday.

Temperatures will be held back in the mid-60s on Wednesday. Rain will end from west to east early Thursday. Otherwise, mostly cloudy skies expected during the day with highs climbing to the low 80s.

Another round of showers and thunderstorms are expected Friday and Saturday. These have the potential to become severe. Stay weather aware as we wrap up the week.
