Metro Schools Cancel Saturday Activities In Anticipation Of Severe Weather

Saturday activities were canceled for many schools in the metro, including prom for some schools.

Oklahoma City Public Schools, Norman Public Schools, Bethany Public Schools, Yukon Public Schools and Midwest City-Del City Public Schools were among those who canceled Saturday activities.

Oklahoma City Public Schools were forced to cancel prom activities for Southeast High, John Marshall and US Grant.

Multiple private schools and churches also closed their doors for weekend activities because of potentially dangerous weather activity in the forecast.
