Thousands of OG&E customers are still without power Thursday morning, after severe thunderstorms swept across central Oklahoma on Wednesday.
According to the the OG&E System Watch, as of 8:30 a.m., 16,276 customers are still without power, including 9,091 in Oklahoma City, 3,247 in Norman, and 1,971 in Choctaw.
Severe storms produced multiple tornadoes in Oklahoma, first starting in rural southwestern parts of the state and eventually making its way up around the OKC metro on Wednesday.

Following the storms, multiple highways and roadways were shut down due to high water and debris.
