A high speed pursuit in Pottawatomie County ended in an officer-involved shooting Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place Tuesday afternoon, when deputies responded to a call of a victim in pursuit of the man who burglarized his home.
The victim said the suspect was armed and was firing multiple shots as he followed, striking his vehicle.
Law enforcement took over the pursuit in the area of Highway 11 and Cocoa Rd. The pursuit reached speeds in excess of 90 mph. The suspect's crashed at Post Office Neck Rd. and Highway 102 near Shawnee Lakes.

Deputies said the suspect, 32-year-old Erick Rose, refused to get out of his vehicle. Four deputies at the scene were forced to take fire upon Rose.
Rose was shot and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
OSBI agents are currently investigating the incident.
The four deputies involved in the shooting have been place on administrative leave pending the results of the investigation.
