OKC Police Identify Victim In Bricktown Shooting

Oklahoma City police have identified the victim in a deadly shooting outside of a Bricktown bar.

Police say Zachary Bowie, 30, of Spencer died after suffering a gunshot wound outside of Club Social, located at 119 E. California. The shooting occurred Saturday, March 1, at around 12:40 a.m.

Police were called to the area to investigate a "shots fired" call. When they arrived, they found Bowie shot outside of the club. Bowie was transported to OU Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators say the suspect was inside Club Social when he was confront by security and kicked out. As he was leaving, he threatened the security officers, police say. It's believed the suspect left, then returned with a gun and fired toward the crowd, hitting Bowie.
