A water treatment plant in southeast Oklahoma City lost power Sunday morning leaving customers with little to no water.
According to officials, Draper Water Treatment Plant experienced a power outage Sunday caused by frozen power lines. 30,000 customers experienced low water pressure or no water at all.
City officials pumped water from the Hefner Plant to assist the electricians who were on site resolving the power issue. Around 12:30 p.m., the electricity was back on at the plant.
Officials are estimating water pressure to be restored to customers within the hour but ask that residents conserve water during that time, so the pumps can meet back up with the demand.
