OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma City Public Schools canceled classes and activities again as snow falls across the metro Thursday morning.

Classes and activities have been canceled for both students and staff members of the OKCPS.

Classes were canceled on Wednesday for Oklahoma City public schools due to the cold temperatures. As of Wednesday, Oklahoma City Public Schools have no more built-in inclement weather days.

According to Tierney Tinnin, OKCPS spokesperson,  changes to the official calendar can only be made by the OKCPS Board of Education. The interim superintendent will make a recommendation to the board on how to make up the inclement weather day after meeting with district senior leadership and the union employee groups.

School officials say Parent-Teacher conferences on Thursday night are also canceled.

Many other school districts are also closed on Thursday, including Deer Creek, Edmond, El Reno Public Schools and more.
