A Silver Alert for a Norman man has been canceled after the man was safely located late Thursday night.

Police issued the alert for 72-year-old Charles Farmer. Farmer was last seen driving away from a home in Norman, located at 1519 S. Berry Rd., around 5:15 p.m.

Farmer was wearing an Air Force bomber jacket, a T-shirt of unknown color, blue jeans and a pair of boots. He was driving a white 2002 Chevy Suburban with dark tinted windows, a large scratch down the driver's side door, and Texas license plate number DV3-DVD.

According to police, Farmer has Alzheimer's disease and has not had his medication. He just moved to Norman and does not know the area.

Again, Farmer has been found safe and has received his medication.
