Oklahoma City Police were called after a furniture repo team was allegedly threatened by the residents. One got angry when an officer stepped inside the apartment, and when a fight started, one of the residents recorded it.
The residents were arrested for assault, but say this video shows they were assaulted. I disagree and think the officer's showed restraint. Here's what you had to say.
Bobby in Moore says: "You were right on. Those guys accusation was ludicrous."
But David says: "To say that they should have respected their authority and filed a complaint later is ludicrous. Did they have a warrant? Their authority does not trump our rights."
Ann writes: "The officers had the right to enter, they were assisting rental people on a repo."
Jessica in Woodward says: "I think their video backfired on them."
And Ken from Stillwater wants to know: "At what point in our society did filming your behavior give a person the right to act like an idiot?"
Bryan asked if I was out of my mind: "If officers came in my home uninvited and without cause, there would be a major disturbance."
Twyla in Bethany: "This video clearly states that the police department is totally out of control."
Finally, Trudy asks: "Were they maybe hoping to cause the police to become abusive? And get that caught on tape? That might be worth a lot of money."
