Man Arrested For DUI After Crashing Into Officer's Car In Mustang

MUSTANG, Oklahoma -

A man is behind bars accused of driving drunk after he rear-ended a police officer's car in Mustang Saturday night.

According to authorities, a police officer was responding to a domestic dispute just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Highway 152 in Mustang.  As he was leaving the area, his patrol car was struck from behind by a white pickup truck.

The officer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck failed a field sobriety test and was arrested on suspicion of DUI. His identity has not been released.
